Ms. Lowrey es de Nueva Mexico originalmente y por eso, a ella le encanta chili verde y tamales! Ms. Lowrey empezó a aprender español en el tercer grado cuando ella tenía ocho años (¡muy parecido a sus estudiantes hoy en día!). Ella estudió español y la educación en la Universidad de Colorado y obtuvo su maestría en instrucción de lectura y escritura en 2017. A la Sra. Lowrey le encanta la educación bilingüe y este es su noveno año enseñando. Ms. Lowrey vive con su gatita ciega, Anna, y su esposo, Evan. Ellos le gustan correr, cocinar, viajar, y pescar en su tiempo libre.
Ms. Lowrey is from New Mexico originally, and because of this, she loves green chili and tamales! Ms. Lowrey started to learn Spanish in third grade when she was 8 years old– much like her students today! She studied Spanish and Elementary Education at the University of Colorado and obtained her MA in Reading and Writing Instruction in 2017. Ms. Lowrey loves bilingual education, and this is her ninth year teaching. Ms. Lowrey lives with her blind kitten, Anna, and her husband, Evan. They like to run, cook, travel, and fish in their free time.
