A Message From Mrs. Uribe
Greetings!
The Goldrick staff has identified three main areas of focus for the last two school years. These include: main idea and summarizing in reading, topic maintenance in writing and estimation and measurement in math. We have been working together to ensure that all students are able to write well in the content areas of Reading, Writing, Math, Science and Social Studies, as we believe this will increase their academic performance. We have seen some good progress toward those goals and appreciate your support
I truly believe that all children can learn, and I am so pleased to see our children grow and develop as educated, happy, responsible citizens. This can only happen with you as our partners in education.
I invite you to come in and visit the school. I have an open door policy and welcome you to sit in your child’s classroom, volunteer in the library or just sit and visit with other parents outside the office prior to dismissal.

En los dos últimos años el personal de Goldrick ha identificado y a su vez se ha enfocado en tres áreas que considera las más importantes. Estas áreas son: la idea principal y los resúmenes en la lectura, mantener el tópico en la escritura y como estimar y medir en las matemáticas. Hemos estado trabajando juntos para asegurarnos que los estudiantes sean capaces de escribir bien en todas las materias; lectura, escritura, matemáticas, ciencias y estudios sociales, ya que creemos que esto les va ayudar para mejorar académicamente. ¡Hemos visto muy buen progreso para alcanzar nuestro objetivo y les agradecemos mucho su apoyo
Yo creo firmemente que todos los niños pueden aprender y estoy muy contenta de ver que nuestros niños están creciendo y desarrollándose como ciudadanos, cultos, felices y responsables. Esto únicamente pasa si ustedes y nosotros trabajamos juntos.
Los invitamos a que visiten la escuela. Mi filosofía es que las puertas de la escuela están abiertas para todos y si desean pueden venir a participar en la clase de su hijo, o ser voluntarios en la biblioteca o simplemente vengan y visiten otros padres al frente de la oficina mientras esperan que los niños salgan.
