University of Colorado at Denver Partnership

University of Colorado at Denver has partnered with Goldrick Elementary to further the development of quality teachers in schools today.  Through hands on experience our teacher candidates are able to develop new teaching strategies to be used in their own classroom.  This hands on experience coupled with classes at UCD helps in the development of the best possible teachers to work with students today.

A teacher candidate's ability to work alongside their clinical teacher provides better understanding of the planning, instruction, classroom management, and assessment of the students.  Along with onsite professors helps promote and broaden the knowledge of our teacher candidates.  As parents, co-workers, and visitors come into classrooms at Goldrick they will often see two teachers engaged in the education of the students at this school.
