Mathematics

• At Goldrick, we think math should be fun! Our math program, Eureka Math Squared, is an evidence-and research-based math program that ensures kids feel successful by teaching in a clear and coherent way across grade levels. We introduce just a little bit of new information each lesson, so that students build on what they already know in math each day. Students draw about math, talk about math, and use lots of tools and real objects to share their math thinking.

After the math lesson, teachers work with students in small groups to make sure any student who is confused, or needs extra help, gets that help right away. Students can also practice what they’ve already learned by working at their own pace on Zearn, an evidence-aligned digital math program that works with our curriculum.
