Hi! My name is Mrs. Markham, and I’ve been teaching for 16 years. This is my fourth year teaching 4th grade at Goldrick, and I’m so proud to be a Panther! I received my B.A. in Letters with a minor in Spanish at the University of Oklahoma. I spent three years studying and teaching in Madrid, Spain, where I received an M.A. in Bilingual Education. I’ve lived in Denver since 2011 and graduated with another M.A. in Education Equity and Cultural Diversity from CU Boulder in 2017. I am passionate about bilingual education and helping my students to develop and explore a bilingual and bicultural identity. When I’m not teaching, you can find me spending time with my husband, our two kids, and our husky. I also enjoy practicing yoga, cooking, and spending time with friends.
